Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is the main international airport in the Netherlands. It's located around 20 minutes southwest from Amsterdam. It is under the municipality of Haarlemmermeer. Airport address is Evert van beekstraat 202, 1118 CP Schiphol, Netherlands. Code is AMS. It was opened on 16 September 1916 as a military airbase and become a civil airport on 17 December 1920.

Schiphol has a major passenger railway station directly below the passenger terminal complex. Schiphol offers two basic types of parking facilities: short time parking, and valet parking.
There are around 43 hotels and restaurants in the Schiphol neighborhood. By NS train, it will take 15 to 20 minutes from Schiphol to Amsterdam central. By bus it will take approximately 60 minutes. Hotel shuttle bus will take 30 to 45 minutes. Taxis can reach Amsterdam within 20 minutes.
