Dunedin International Airport (DUD)
Dunedin International Airport colloquially known as Momona Airport, is an international airport in the Otago region of the South Island of New Zealand, serving Dunedin city and the Otago and Southland regions. Construction of the present airport was completed in 1962. Airlines that operate out of the Airport include Air New Zealand Air New Zealand Link, Jetstar Airways, Virgin Australia, Air Post etc. These airlines operate flights to Sydney, Melbourne, and other places.
There are two car parks: 800 short term parking spaces, 800 long term parking spaces; and one terminal building. Check-in hall, arrival hall and departure halls are present in the airport.
The two runways at the Airport can handle most commercial airlines; 12 check-in desks, 5 gates two lounge facilities, Restaurants, Cafeterias, Bars, Duty Shop, to cater to passengers’ needs.
Taxis, shuttles or car rentals services are available for passengers. A taxi may cost around $90. Shuttle costs start from $30. The rental car offices are located at the southern end of the terminal building.
