Perth – Perth Airport
Located in Redcliff, Western Australia, Perth International Airport serves the largest city of Western Australia. It provides international and domestic flights in and out of Perth and is fourth on the list of busiest Australian airports.
The international terminal and the newest domestic terminal lie about 16km from the Centre of Perth while the two older domestic terminals are about 12 km away.
Perth International Airport has officially operated since 1962 though prior to this it was used in a more basic capacity. It caters to every main international and domestic route and is home to 30 major airlines, receiving over 1500 flights each week. There are four terminals and two runways.
There are many parking options available on site which can be booked and paid for through the official website or upon arrival at the airport. There are free buses that take passengers between the main terminals and shuttles that regularly go to the city. Taxis are also available and cost about $35 for a single journey from the airport to the Centre of Perth. Rental cars are also an option and can be arranged through the companies that operate from the airport.
