Zurich Airport is also known as Zurich Kloten Airport. It’s the largest international airport of Switzerland and the principal hub of Swiss International Airlines. The airport located 13 kilometers (8 miles) north of central Zurich. It is in the municipalities of Kloten, Rumlang, Oberglatt, Wineland Opfikon. All of which are within the canton of Zurich. The airport is served by the A51 Motorway and other main roads, which provide access to the especially for the central and eastern Switzerland. Taxis can be pre-booked before the journey, it is safer and more secure than trying to catch a taxi from the airport.
